About the role

  • Engage in deep discussions with CFOs and finance teams to understand FP&A business requirements and internal processes
  • Customize customers' Datarails experience based on requirements
  • Conduct captivating product demos for finance teams, identifying pain points and complementary solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) showcasing Datarails capabilities and value
  • Partner closely with the sales team, evaluate and assist in sales strategies, and provide solution recommendations
  • Leverage understanding of competitive products and technologies to position Datarails in sales presentations
  • Assist in development of proposals and responses to RFI and RFP documents
  • Work full-time (~40 hours/week) remotely with some overlap with US Eastern time

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles
  • Strong grasp of financial applications including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements using a consultative approach
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Strong business acumen and collaborative, team-oriented attitude
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries (manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc.) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance a plus
  • Must be located in the UK or Germany and able to provide some overlap with US Eastern time
