Act as a trusted Clinical Leader, Educator and Advocate aligned with Clients, Brokers, Sales and other stakeholders
Provide consultative clinical insights about Cigna business segment strategies, clinical programs, services and processes
Foster collaborative relationships championing Cigna's differentiated clinical value proposition
Support business growth targets: prospective review, request for proposal, finalist meetings and new client onboarding
Support persistency targets: medical cost driver analysis, complex case review, referral and engagement, account renewal consultation
Collaborate across business units to design and deliver client and market specific solutions
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve organizational effectiveness and affordability
Facilitate client and broker external engagements: health forums, community/worksite events, presentations, corporate tours
Respond to and resolve escalated case inquiries, benefit/coverage explanations and non-standard benefit requests
Travel intermittently up to 50% to meet client and business needs
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Nursing License Required
Bachelor’s degree (Advanced Degree preferred)
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice experience
Proven industry experience in a Health Sector related field (Health Insurance; Healthcare Professional and/or Delivery System Entities or Allied Health Industry; Medical Sales a plus)
Strong Leadership, Organizational, Critical Thinking and Execution skills
Broad-based thinker with solid understanding of population health for employers
Works effectively in a matrixed environment
Proven ability to foster, influence and maintain collaborative successful relations with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in multiple forum presentations internally and externally
Skilled in using Microsoft and Technology/Software applications
Requires intermittent travel up to 50% of time

Candidate must reside in San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle WA, or Portland OR
