Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with corporate goals, focusing on PBS and supporting Evernorth services and Cigna Healthcare
Drive top-line growth through new client wins, upselling, cross-selling to existing clients, and consultant/broker relationships
Develop and drive the consultant relations strategy to win and retain business
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales organization including regional VPs, account executives, and business development teams
Cultivate executive-level relationships with key clients, consultants, brokers, and prospects and serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform go-to-market strategies and product positioning
Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with service delivery and innovation
Establish KPIs and sales targets, monitor performance and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent achievement of goals
Create an engaged culture where people are rewarded, share ownership, and collaborate across senior leaders enterprise-wide
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA preferred
15+ years of sales experience within the PBM or healthcare industry
Previous sales leadership experience required
Experience in managing complex client relationships required
Ability to organize highly flexible/leveraged team and develop/implement supporting processes that drive efficiency and standardization while allowing customization
History of developing new and innovative sales programs
Solid understanding of healthcare market dynamics and industry regulations/initiatives
Extensive leadership experience including proven ability to meet client retention goals and grow, develop, and retain critical resources
Ability to affect organizational change to support client retention and growth
Ability to travel 50%+
