About the role
- Serve as a liaison between the business and technology to ensure capabilities support implementations and product enhancements
- Responsible for Technology Enablement and BPO technical capabilities with focus on benefit operations and client-specific technology needs
- Manage, oversee, and implement enterprise-wide, large-scale cross-functional initiatives
- Provide business capabilities oversight and delivery, data governance and stewardship, and pharmacy regulatory and telecommunication compliance
- Support business stakeholders across the enterprise and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal business
- Own responsibility for capabilities in the pharmacy services ecosystem to support retail claim adjudication
- Lead a client-facing team to document client technology enhancement requirements and manage delivery oversight
- Collaborate with portfolio management on technology capacity and resource allocation
- Daily interface with Technology Product Owners leveraging Agile methodology and escalate appropriately with business and technology
- Prepare timelines and deliverables with CTPOs, Delivery Managers, SAs and Technology leadership
- Directly and indirectly manage teams across multiple functions, domains and sub-domains, including staff training and development
- Develop, coach, and grow the team while maintaining accountability and service delivery
- Ensure appropriate processes are used with technology partners to manage initiatives efficiently
- Ensure initiative testing plans are effective and support post deployment review
- Manage capability backlog prioritization, work and capability roadmaps to align to enterprise strategies
- Create, schedule, and facilitate Adjudication and Capability Summits with Technology
- Work closely with business leaders to align business value justifications to the Value Based Prioritization process
- Raise and mitigate escalations/concerns/issues and identify accountability and backup strategies
- Represent the BPO organization in client meetings and large-scale strategic efforts and represent the enterprise professionally externally as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proven leadership with experience in managing managers and multifunctional teams
- Blended business and technology/technology adjacent background strongly preferred
- Prior experience with large cross-functional project management requiring significant technology engagement
- Healthcare industry or PBM experience desired
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and quickly identify impacts of competing projects and initiatives
- Keen eye for process improvement and ability to articulate and act upon interdependencies and redundancies
- Self-starter able to solve complex challenges with minimal guidance or day to day direction
- Maintain knowledge base on new technology trends, solutions and techniques and protocols
- Must be able to clearly and effectively convey information to clients and understand their needs
- Ability to effectively pull out detailed requirements and establish an understanding of expected outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence others
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with multiple audiences and at all levels of the organization
