About the role

  • Analyse complex People data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities using statistical techniques and visualization tools
  • Build advanced Excel models and tools (formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA, Macros)
  • Create PowerPoint presentations that translate data into clear, actionable narratives
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, Microsoft Access, and Excel to track KPIs and workforce health
  • Act as a subject matter expert for key HR systems, supporting enhancements and issue resolution
  • Collaborate on system design and configuration to enable accurate reporting and analytics
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy, security standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead data governance including audits, data quality checks, master data models and lifecycle management
  • Troubleshoot data issues and partner with HR colleagues and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas like INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS; Pivot Tables; Power Query; VBA; Macros)
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools including SQL, Microsoft Access, and Power BI
  • 4+ years in HR tech or analytics roles with strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR processes
  • Technical agility and quickness to learn new systems and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying insights and collaborating with stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy, integrity, and risk identification
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and commitment to handling sensitive data confidentially
  • Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow and Dayforce (desirable)
