About the role

  • Supervises assigned personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA and other Manuals, as well as applicable regulations
  • Monitors personal appearance, dress code, and conduct of personnel
  • Maintains a current read and file of all Solairus Aviation memorandums
  • Coordinates, schedules and reviews crew and maintenance training
  • Coordinates maintenance test, training and other flights
  • Develops scheduling procedures with clients
  • Approves and schedules PTO for assigned personnel
  • Updates flight coordinator on schedule changes
  • Conducts meetings with personnel to coordinate activities and promote goodwill
  • Approves expense accounts for assigned personnel
  • Participates in interview process for assigned personnel
  • Solicits Client Responsible Officer’s input for substantive issues
  • Submits written reports as required by Operations Manuals
  • Revises copies of manuals and publications assigned to aircraft
  • Maintains Training Currency and Monthly Flight Time Record on each crewmember
  • Ensures timely submission of training records, medicals, and other operations data
  • Promotes customer goodwill and company image
  • Actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and initiatives

Requirements

  • Total time = 3000 hours PIC = 1500 hours MEL = 1500 hours MEL PIC = 500 hours Time in Turbo Jet = 500 Instrument Time = 250 hours
  • Typed on Gulfstream G650
  • First class medical required
  • Must be able to work on an on-call basis
  • Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
  • Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KOAK
  • A management background with a demonstrated track record of exceptional leadership skill
  • NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training preferred
  • Experience in multiple facets of training for flight operations personnel
  • Budget development and management experience
  • College degree and/or advanced (non-flight) training
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Track record of working in environments implementing industry best practices
