About the role
- Develop engagement strategy and account plans aligned to therapeutic area strategy for VA, DoD, and IHS accounts
- Engage with DoD and VA leadership, formulary decision makers, and population health stakeholders to optimize therapeutic area access and speed to access
- Execute account management model and identify enterprise-level engagement opportunities to drive access and growth
- Serve as account engagement lead on product access, pricing, contracting, and patient access topics
- Facilitate compliant facility-level engagement activities across field teams and HEOR/medical colleagues
- Support Sr. Director in speed to access and gross-to-net optimization, including contract strategy, negotiations, terms and bid submission
- Work closely with Pricing to implement price changes and monitor competitive intelligence to optimize access strategy and contracts
- Prepare access strategy business cases and recommendations for leadership review
- Communicate field team requirements and reporting (internal and external)
- Utilize approved resources to educate stakeholders on growth-driving therapeutic areas
- Maintain highest ethical standards and compliance with Teva Code of Conduct, laws, policies and procedures
- Obtain and maintain required credentialing to visit accounts and represent Teva at trade shows, conventions and conferences as appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or other advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management for Federal accounts (VA/DoD), including deep knowledge of VA/DoD and existing relationships preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare/biopharmaceuticals in account management, market access or equivalent
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and leading without reporting authority
- Former military experience preferred
- Experience executing Federal accounts contracts highly preferred
- Working knowledge of Federal pricing, distribution and pathway to acquisition dynamics
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Expertise in DoD and VA stakeholders, knowledge of access and demand levers
- Creative and innovative problem-solving skills
- Excellent professional and strategic account management skills
- Understanding of clinical and economic trends driving decision making in Federal healthcare market
- Demonstrated executive level customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of Federal legal, regulatory, and compliance environment
- Strong ability to analyze account-level economics and budgetary impact
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing to work with and visit all accounts
- Willingness to travel approximately up to 50%
