About the role
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Sales Managers and Account Executives.
- Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting.
- Partner with the executive team to align sales strategies with corporate objectives and product roadmaps.
- Build executive-level relationships with key customers and partners.
- Establish best practices for sales processes, methodologies, and team performance.
- Represent sales perspectives in cross-functional leadership discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software sales, with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles.
- Track record of scaling SaaS sales organizations and delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of selling into government contractors and regulated markets.
- Expertise with Salesforce and sales analytics tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience managing multi-level sales teams (Sales Managers and Account Executives).
- Proven success in building sales strategies and executing at scale.
- Ability to work remotely, must be based in Reston, VA area.
