About the role

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers (~100 accounts) focusing on upselling, renewals, and expanding relationships.
  • Sell Teleport’s products and services to existing customers while maintaining and supporting the relationship.
  • Uncover growth opportunities and bring them to close; ensure on-time renewals.
  • Forecast Net ARR changes and keep SFDC up to date.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with book of accounts; drive adoption and create champions.
  • Seek out new opportunities for Teleport and be proactive about expansion.
  • Identify and mitigate risk for contraction/churn to maintain retention rate above 90%.
  • Report directly to the Director of Sales - EMEA.
  • Performance measured by growth in ARR and a retention rate above 90%.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in startups, account management, sales development, sales, renewals, or customer success.
  • Experience working in SaaS required; security industry experience preferred.
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented, and confident at building repeatable processes.
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio of ~100 customers and identifying upsells and contraction/churn risks.
  • Fast learner; adapts quickly and can work independently.
  • Persistent and personable.
  • Strong communicator who can balance engaging with technical personas while driving business outcomes.
  • Receptive to feedback and has a desire for continual improvement.
  • Embodies company behaviors: “We Start Simple and Iterate”, “We Are Drivers, Not Passengers” and “We Are Builders”.
  • Great at aligning Teleport’s products to ROI.
  • Willing to contribute to new business initiatives as and when required.
