About the role
- Manage and grow Teladoc Health's relationship with major insurance companies (health plan payers)
- Build strategic relationships within account base across a matrix of roles and executive-level personnel
- Increase Teladoc Health market share by prospecting and identifying new opportunities within your account base
- Develop quarterly reports to articulate Teladoc Health's value proposition to executive-level clients
- Develop an operating calendar, detailed account plan/forecast and account planning/mapping process
- Work closely with internal partners (product, clinical, data science, implementation, reporting, legal, finance) to deliver on strategic roadmap
- Maximize, drive and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within allocated budget
- Manage and deliver on issue resolution and customer satisfaction within your accounts
- Demonstrate broad comprehension of customer needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies
- No supervisory responsibilities required
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within the health plan payer’s space
- A proven track record of success with complex and strategic account management
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
- A bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel for work (Travel: ≥10%)
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Preferred: 2–3 years of Federal Government/Military Healthcare experience
- Preferred: Experience transforming account productivity from volume-based to value-based results
- Preferred: Master's degree in public health (ideal, not required)
