About the role

  • Assist US Risk Management teams in identifying, understanding and monitoring risks aligned to Bank strategy and Risk Appetite
  • Ensure teams remain compliant with framework, policy and standard requirements for enterprise-wide risk programs
  • Support Business Continuity Management, Issue Management and Tool/Asset management (including End-User Computing, Non-Models and Models)
  • Support completion of risk assessments and manage inventories in the established Book of Record
  • Provide training and subject matter expertise to teams; partner with Data Steward team on Enterprise Data Management Standard and Program
  • Provide additional support for Fraud or Financial Crimes risk assessments as needed
  • Partner with US Enterprise Risk Management, US Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management and Office of the Chief Risk Officer

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or 7+ years relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management governance, programs, policies, practices, operating frameworks & reporting
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations and mitigation
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities
  • Skill in mentoring and coaching
  • Advanced skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders across all lines of defense
  • Organizational, proactive, responsive and ability to take complex analysis and summarize
  • Adaptability, problem-solving under pressure, and confident storytelling through slides and verbal presentation
  • Experience or skills in 3-4 of: Risk Management Governance and Control, Business Continuity Management, Risk and Control Assessments, Issues Management
