Manage the overall APU/landing gear operations, responsible for effective management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures
Budgeting and forecasting; prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives; implement Visual Standard Work in all areas
Achieve and maintain OTD and TAT requirements and ensure regulatory compliance adherence
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees; communicate job expectations and conduct performance management
Plan and review compensation actions; enforce policies and procedures
Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards
Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends and analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout
Maintain safe and healthy work environment; run an injury/accident free workplace and comply with legal regulations
Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues and review/approve operational invoices
Communicate customer issues with operations team and improve customer experience
Work closely with Director and management team to set and implement policies, procedures and systems
Reports to Sr Director of Operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or related field OR 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex MRO manufacturing environment; aviation/aerospace MRO industry preferred

RCCA, Lean Sig-Sigma, Flow, and execution abilities
