Accounts Receivable

• Manage the overall APU/landing gear operations, responsible for effective management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures
• Budgeting and forecasting; prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
• Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives; implement Visual Standard Work in all areas
• Achieve and maintain OTD and TAT requirements and ensure regulatory compliance adherence
• Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees; communicate job expectations and conduct performance management
• Plan and review compensation actions; enforce policies and procedures
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards
• Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends and analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment; run an injury/accident free workplace and comply with legal regulations
• Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues and review/approve operational invoices
• Communicate customer issues with operations team and improve customer experience
• Work closely with Director and management team to set and implement policies, procedures and systems

Landing Gear Operations Manager

• Oversee review, drafting, and editing of commercial aviation contracts, agreements, amendments, and legal documents
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks while protecting the organization’s interests
• Assess RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and draft/enhance proposal response components
• Conduct milestone proposal reviews and adjust proposal schedules as needed
• Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and legal to align contract terms with organizational policies
• Serve as the key liaison to TAT’s external legal teams and negotiate contract language with external parties
• Maintain and update contract templates, clause libraries, and standard terms
• Track and monitor contract performance, obligations, and key deadlines to ensure compliance
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters
• Support continuous improvement in contract management processes and systems

Contracts Manager

Account Manager

• Open work orders for assigned customers.
• Work closely with the Director of Account Management to maintain KPI’s and other reporting metrics to ensure Piedmont is meeting all contract obligations and the Customers’ expectations are being met.
• Act as principle point of contact for assigned customers, using Piedmont’s proactive account management methods.
• Understands where his/her customer products are in the production schedule.
• Act as the advocate for the customer and provide liaison between the Customer and Production Control, Shop Operations and Shipping departments to ensure all Customer requirements are met and technical difficulties or questions are answered.
• Respond to inquiries from existing and potential customers, incoming mail, e-mail and any other requests regarding customer parts or related issues.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop timely solutions.
• Assign OTD (on time delivery) dates for work orders to production that meet the customer’s expectations.
• Identify opportunities to grow business with key accounts, including providing proposals to Tier 3 customers.
• Limited travel to customer locations for business growth and relationship opportunities.
• Meet or exceed sales goals for assigned Tier 3 customer accounts.
• Track financial, turnaround time, On Time Delivery and other key metrics with assigned accounts. Provide solutions to issues when metrics are not in alignment with customers’ expectations.
• Proactively provide status reports to Customer (and Management) as necessary.
• Assist with contract management issues, reports and analysis as necessary.
• Provide technical assistance as needed, or work with the shop to provide the technical support needed by the Customer.
• Other duties and task as needed.
