About the role
- Execute the design, product and technical build, support and maintenance of a key product or limited product portfolio in an Agile driven environment
- Lead teams of 20+ FTE with skip level employees and may lead onshore and offshore contracting companies
- Attract, hire, and retain a high performing, full stack, team of Product Managers, Software Developers, architects, and Managers
- Develop strong and productive relationships with Customer teams, partner organizations, dependent engineering teams, and vendors
- Provide direction, developmental feedback, coaching, and tools to teams; create training and career development plans; conduct performance reviews
- Monitor and measure work tasks to ensure deliverables on time and within budget
- Define and drive continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines and organizations
- Oversee technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors and drive feature/function requests
- Drive and own current and future state technical roadmap in collaboration with Design and Enterprise Architecture
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience (Required)
- 7-10 years Relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment (Required)
- 2-4 years Experience in a leadership role (Required)
- 2-4 years Experience managing teams of 5 or more resources in direct reporting relationship in a Product Management organization (Preferred)
- Agile Methodologies
- Technical Writing skills
- Agile Project Management Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools
- Collaboration Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories
- Technology Experience in delivering large and sophisticated business/technology initiatives
- Communication: ability to effectively communicate with Leadership and present complex technical information
- Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Preferred)
- Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
