About the role
- Provide end to end analytical support and solutions to PCMs supporting PayPal & Venmo within the Digital platform space
- Partner with PCMs to understand analytic needs and provide insight and recommendations to support portfolio growth and loss mitigation
- Own reporting and detailed performance reviews (e.g., underwriting metrics, channels, spend behavior, delinquency, and fraud trends)
- Support credit & fraud initiatives, including pre/post-launch performance tracking and champion/challenger testing
- Identify key trends and help deploy strategies to mitigate credit & fraud losses
- Coordinate credit & fraud tasks in cross-functional projects
- Study and analyze existing business trends and provide actionable insights to increase profitability / reduce losses
- Develop new and/or maintain existing daily/weekly/monthly reporting (e.g., Acquisition & Account Management credit & fraud metrics)
- Partner with Commercial and other teams on ad hoc questions / customer complaints and improving CX
- Work cross-functionally to support the implementation of new products and capabilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and across portfolios
- Expand support to other PCMs and team members as needed
- Report into VP, Portfolio Credit Analytics Leader within the India Credit Organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus (Data Science, Computer Science, Risk, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) with 1+ years of experience in consumer and/or commercial Credit/Risk, or Analytics role
- OR in lieu of a degree, 2+ years of experience in Programming/Analytics ideally in support of Risk, Credit, Finance, Accounting, Consumer Lending, or other relevant professional experience and 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 1+ years of experience in SAS
- 1+ years of experience in Tableau
- Ability to work with large or complex datasets
- Experience working with cross-functional project teams
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Suite, including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong self-starter balanced with desire to achieve team goals
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with uncompromising integrity and confidentiality
- Desired: 1+ years of demonstrated success developing and delivering analytics solutions
- Desired: Proven analytical and decision-making skills
- Desired: Strong presentation, communication, problem solving skills & attention to detail
- Desired: Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking toward tactical execution
