About the role
- Responsible for execution of technical facilities management and internal environment management (sustainability) workstreams across APAC
- Implement workplace technical/engineering guidelines, standards and policy under direction of regional operations head and global process owners
- Provide technical subject matter expertise for ICT facility MEP design and operation (power, cooling, safety, security) to support IT production systems
- Design, build, commission and maintain systems: ELV, mechanical (Chiller, AHU, PAC, FCU), UPS/Inverter, lighting control (DALI, KNX), leak detection, fire alarm and intrusion, plumbing, metering, access control, CCTV, IoT
- Manage base building infrastructure and facility operation, asset management, planned maintenance (preventive and statutory), critical activities and incident management
- Lead projects including office relocation, new site establishment, office downsizing/restack
- Lead environmental and energy management per Swiss Re's ISO 14001 environmental management system and secure EPI reporting and data quality
- Drive continuous improvement from audits and EPI trends; conduct due diligence for new site selection, leasing renewals, purchasing and implement carbon emission reduction pathways
- Support LEED or other local green building certification processes
- Coordinate physical security operations with CF IT, Head Physical Security APAC and vendors; troubleshoot CCTV and PACS, support testing/commissioning and review access profiles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, major in engineering related disciplines is a must
- ISO 14001 lead auditor certification is desired
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering services operation and infra projects context
- Corporate Real Estate experience is a must
- Experience in financial services and banking industry is desired
- Medium size (~200K sq ft) project MEP design and execution experience is a must
- Deep knowledge on Building Management System design, implementation and operation is a must
- ITIL based change & incident management knowledge and track record
- Experience with ISO14001 standards is desired
- Solid understanding of large/complex corporations and corresponding premises needs
- Capability to provide umbrella operational function and detailed in-country solutions
- Refined interpersonal skills in a culturally and geographically diverse team
- Ability to meet demanding requirements and deadlines
- Highly motivated, strong business acumen, outstanding written/oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, people management and business-aligned skills; lead by example
- Willingness to travel within APAC for infra projects, external ISO audits and workshops
