About the role
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance policies, procedures, and company compliance roadmap
- Interpret and communicate compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and customer-specific mandates (e.g., RBA, ISO 14001/45001/9001, IATF 16949, FDA)
- Serve as primary point of contact for compliance-related communications
- Lead cross-functional implementation of compliance controls across QA, Manufacturing, HR, Supply Chain, PM, Facility, Warehouse, IT, RND, Engineering
- Support documentation, record keeping, and traceability requirements; establish and manage risk registers
- Plan, coordinate, and lead internal and external compliance audits; address audit findings with corrective actions
- Champion ethical business conduct, manage Code of Conduct trainings, and handle whistle blower or ethics violation investigations
- Lead due diligence for suppliers, partners, and contractors in line with ethics and sustainability expectations
- Design and deliver compliance training programs and communication campaigns
- Maintain organized compliance documentation and prepare regular compliance reports for management and HQ governance teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications in Compliance, Internal Audit, or Risk Management (e.g., CCEP, ISO Lead Auditor) are an advantage
- Minimum 5-10 years of working experience in a compliance, audit, or governance-related function
- Experience in the EMS or electronics manufacturing industry is highly preferred
- Proven track record in managing customer audits, regulatory inspections, and cross functional compliance programs
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory trends (RBA, ISO, OSHA, RoHS, REACH, CTPAT, ESG, EICC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in handling customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and compliance reporting systems
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Chinese Mandarin is a plus
- Office-based with frequent interaction across production floors and supplier sites; occasional travel for audits or meetings
