Perform supplier identification, evaluation, selection, onboarding and provide onboarding training to suppliers
Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, non-conformity processes, concession management and supplier blocks
Support supplier change control, monitor supplier performance, and drive Lean initiatives and P3E improvements
Maintain QM info records and control plans in SAP and provide regular written and verbal reports to partners and Top Management
Collaborate with cross-functional Embraer teams and suppliers to resolve issues and enhance integration
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher (e.g., Master's degree)
Professional experience as required by the position (unspecified years)
Strong understanding of quality management principles and problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
Experience leading problem-solving projects in operations, supplier management, or development environments
Ability to set up and coordinate supplier problem-solving programs
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to interpret technical drawings, publications, and reliability analyses
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Lean, P3E)
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Analytical, process-oriented thinking with a proactive and assertive approach
Conflict management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluent in English (mandatory); Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, or French a plus
Willingness to travel internationally, including long-term assignments
Ability to work in compliance with OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations
Must meet ITAR/EAR requirements: U.S. person status or ability to obtain a DSP5 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee)
