About the role

  • Manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing exclusive partnerships with fitness community leaders
  • Conduct thorough qualification to identify high-value opportunities aligned with our platform objectives
  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to each community's unique business model and challenges
  • Execute the deal closing process according to established policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for new host acquisition
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Attend and participate in fitness community events to establish authentic relationships
  • Collaborate with Community Growth Partners to develop territory-specific acquisition strategies
  • Cultivate strong relationships with influencers in the fitness space to generate referrals
  • Represent SweatPals at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Conduct detailed discovery calls to understand each community's business model and growth objectives
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations highlighting platform features most relevant to each prospect
  • Position SweatPals as an essential business partner rather than just a technology solution
  • Address objections with confidence using data and success stories from similar communities
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial terms aligned with company pricing and deal structure policies
  • Document competitive intelligence and market trends to inform product and strategy decisions
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions for new host partners
  • Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams to enhance platform value proposition
  • Support the development of sales collateral and success stories
  • Contribute to the refinement of sales processes and methodologies

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of successful B2B sales closing experience, preferably in SaaS or marketplace businesses
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with consultative selling approaches and complex sales cycles
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to execute on closing strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Background in or passion for fitness/wellness industry preferred
  • Must be based in or open to relocate to Austin, TX (application asks if based in Austin or open to relocate)
