About the role
- Facilitate same-day deliveries across the whole US, including dispatching runs and communicating with cross-functional teams
- Report to the Dispatch Operations Manager and interact daily with Driver Agents
- Dispatch deliveries in assigned markets and create efficient routes given driver schedules, customer needs, and service level due times
- Display mastery of the CXT dispatch system
- Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to resolve issues professionally
- Use Dialpad and Zendesk for telephone and ticketing systems
- Provide direct, efficient communication and immediate feedback to drivers
- Aim to achieve on-time delivery metrics of 90%+ for assigned markets
- Provide ongoing feedback to General Managers, City Managers, and Supervisors regarding driver supply needs and driver performance
- Learn assigned market(s), including clients, drivers, and market-specific needs
- Be available to work assigned shifts and be flexible during shift changes, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Responsible and dependable
- Customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to master new software technologies and eager to learn and adapt to changing market conditions
- Demonstrated ability to run operationally efficient projects and teams
- True passion for logistics and the execution of rigorous business practices
- Google Office Suite knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work in a remote environment
- Mastery of the CXT dispatch system
- Experience using Dialpad and Zendesk
- Availability to work assigned shifts with flexibility, including weekends and holidays
