About the role
- Act as a strong communicator and address delivery and product issues
- Define exceptional standards for the customer experience that distinguish the company
- Support the needs of the customer base and lead order-to-delivery process for new prospects
- Act as liaison between prospects and operations to ensure delivery of time-sensitive shipments
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships internally and externally
- Take a proactive approach with a sense of urgency to build long-term business growth and profitability
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and Slack
- Manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
- Prioritize and escalate urgent issues appropriately
- Become proficient in multiple customer service platforms, CRM systems, and internal databases
- Access and update information across different programs to resolve customer issues
- Quickly adapt to new software and system updates
- Process new customers, orders, and updates accurately and efficiently
- Remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to communicate effectively on behalf of the client
- Training: 2 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
- Post-Training Schedule: Initial shift Wed–Sun 12:00 PM–9:00 PM CST; Transition shift Wed–Sun 1:00 PM–10:00 PM CST
Requirements
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, ability to multitask
- Quick learner and can intuitively provide an amazing customer experience to a variety of personalities
- Proficient with computers
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs
- Previous experience with customer service
- Sense of humor and a strong desire to be part of a fast-growing company
