About the role
- Champion quality in your pod by partnering with teammates to define and deliver product experiences
- Plan and execute manual testing for new features and releases
- Build tools and processes to make it easy for others to contribute to testing
- Verify code changes and run regression testing as needed
- Continuously improve test processes and tools
- Own and drive bug fixes: lead weekly bug triage, document and prioritize issues
- Investigate and resolve issues that don’t require code changes, including debugging single-user problems
- Track bug fixes within the pod and help ensure timely resolution
- Expand test automation: contribute to Playwright test coverage and guide automation focus for maximum impact
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Delight teams and own the testing process from start to finish
Requirements
- 5+ years of software testing experience
- 1+ year of writing and managing tests in Playwright
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Use of logging, SQL, scripting, and other tools to debug issues and automate tasks
- Delight-focused with exceptional attention to detail and customer experience
- Strong problem solving and ability to test novel features
- Effective asynchronous communication (Slack, Notion, email) and ability to produce detailed written materials
- Prioritization skills to focus testing where it has most impact
- Start-to-finish ownership of quality within pods
- Belief in and practical use of AI to increase productivity
- Proactive positivity and interpersonal awareness
- Location: open to joining from your home office in Mexico or Argentina
