About the role

  • Support the Merch Enablement team in coordinating timelines and trainings for the rollout of our technical initiatives, organize product attribution requests and updates, and assist in implementing improvements to our ways of working for the Merchandising teams.
  • In partnership with Product and Merch SMEs, create training materials in various modes (guides, videos, decks, etc.) to transition remote teams to new tools and workflows.
  • Develop relationships with all merchandising teams and business partners to serve as a point of contact during implementation and deployment of new tools.
  • Communicate effectively with merch teams to identify needs and evaluate alternative processes/solutions. Solicit feedback to engage in improving processes.
  • Create compelling communication and training to adoption of innovations, and to ensure that all Merchandising teams are aligned with key milestone dates and launch schedules.
  • Help identify and evaluate risks and dependencies associated with project activities and take appropriate action to escalate them. Drive for clarity to keep teams moving forward.
  • Ensure successful implementation of new tools and processes by preparing documents, building online knowledge bases, and facilitating or scheduling training that impacts the greater Merch team. Be a champion for the “why”, sharing the business impact driving the need for change.
  • Take a macro company perspective and gather input and ensure feedback across levels from Buying Coordinator to VPs; functions including Buying, Planning, Allocation, Revenue & Margin Management, Sourcing, Brand Management and Technical Design; business lines across Women’s, Men’s, and Kids; and technical partners in Product, Engineering and Data Science to drive process & systems efficiencies.
  • Support various Merchandising working groups that enable the development of best in class Merchandising tools and algorithms to drive key results across business lines.
  • Drive standardization in process and system alignment across the company in various departments serving different clients and at different stages in maturity/growth.
  • Engage with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to be a strong thought partner.
  • Support the centralization, training, and communication of feature updates and releases for internal algorithmic and technical tools widely used across all merch teams.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree, and 5-7 years of relevant work experience; previous experience in merchandising strongly preferred
  • You are growing your skills as a project manager, organizing work with cross-functional team members to meet project goals, establishing realistic timelines and escalating potential risks
  • You are passionate about continuous improvement and can incorporate changes to both tools and process to drive optimal results
  • You are an early adopter, curious and excited to test new tools that can improve our ways of working
  • You have a bias for action and a selfless attitude in the pursuit of driving projects to completion - you’re willing to get in the weeds as much as you’re able to organize and lead
  • You engage effectively with technical partners, helping them clearly understand the business problem to be solved and partnering to overcome challenges
