About the role
- Lead and oversee South Pole Operations departments
- Collaborate with teammate leadership from Amentum, Six Mile, and Gana-A'Yoo Service Corporation
- Provide budget oversight for selected Operations departments
- Assist with development of Annual Program Plan budget information
- Facilitate Operations support capabilities and solutions for NSF grantees
- Communicate with station community and partner agencies on behalf of South Pole Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years prior relevant experience
- Minimum six (6) years of supervisory/management experience
- Demonstrated aptitude with verbal and written communications
- Demonstrated experience with Management by Walking Around (MBWA)
- High level of comfort using Microsoft Office
- Experience with project planning and execution
