About the role
- Lead and grow the recruiting team: manage and mentor recruiters, coordinators, and sourcers while fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture
- Be a player-coach: directly own high-priority or hard-to-fill requisitions when needed
- Build and scale recruiting operations: design and improve processes for fast, high-quality hiring across all teams
- Drive headcount planning and org design: partner with finance and team leads to forecast, plan, and adjust hiring
- Optimize the recruiting tech stack: own ATS, sourcing tools, and reporting infrastructure
- Level up reporting and visibility: track and communicate key hiring metrics and insights
- Own employer brand: shape external brand and storytelling in partnership with marketing and design
- Work closely with executives and hiring managers across the organization to hire exceptional people to support Statsig's mission
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing and developing recruiting teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Comfort operating as a player-coach, balancing strategic leadership with individual execution
- Data-driven mindset, able to use metrics to inform strategy and continuous improvement
- Scrappy approach: navigate ambiguity, solve problems creatively, and move quickly
- Experience partnering with finance and department heads on headcount planning and org design
- Thoughtful approach to candidate experience, employer brand, and hiring practices
- Ability to be on-site five days a week in Bellevue, WA (this is a non-negotiable requirement)
- Currently located in (or willing to relocate to) the Greater Seattle Area
- Must indicate whether sponsorship is required to work in the United States (work authorization requirement)
