About the role

  • Serve as the day-to-day administrator for Salesforce (Sales Cloud + integrated apps), supporting GTM teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce automation and functionality, including flows, process builders, triggers, validation rules, page layouts, fields, and record types
  • Administer Salesforce CPQ, including Advanced Approvals, Price Rules, Product Rules, and Bundles
  • Manage user setup, permissions, roles, profiles, hierarchies, and data visibility
  • Monitor system performance and address bugs, technical issues, or bottlenecks
  • Roll out new features and enhancements using proper Change Set methodology
  • Maintain data accuracy through regular audits, deduplication, and mass updates using tools like Data Loader
  • Support and manage integrations with third-party platforms such as Gong, HubSpot, Groove, Conga Composer/Sign, and NetSuite
  • Ensure reliable data flow between Salesforce and external systems to support business operations
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and other teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements that improve process efficiency and data accessibility
  • Provide ongoing support, onboarding, and basic training for Salesforce users; promote platform adoption and document workflows using Confluence and Jira
  • Reports to the Manager, Business Systems; travel approx. 10%

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, automation tools (especially Flows), custom objects, metadata, etc.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ticketing workflows
  • Experience with managed package evaluations, testing, and implementation
  • Appreciation of well-crafted systems and data architecture; enjoyment in building Salesforce into an incredibly helpful tool
  • Curiosity for and interest in the “why” of system architecture
  • Proficient in standard office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Preferred: Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
  • Preferred: Salesforce Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder certifications
  • Preferred: Experience integrating external platforms into Salesforce
  • Preferred: Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: Data-driven mindset
