About the role

  • Manage and fulfill client email requests for College Pads campaigns, coordinating and executing email sends requested by property management companies, landlords and higher education institutions
  • Ensure timely delivery of campaign materials and track completion of scheduled sends
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce manual workflows and improve the efficiency and scalability of email operations
  • Own and grow College Pads' student-focused social presence (Instagram and TikTok), creating and scheduling on-trend content such as memes, housing tips, reels
  • Monitor engagement, report on trends, and experiment with new formats to boost reach
  • Create educational content (guides, videos, checklists, reels, infographics) to help students navigate off-campus housing
  • Collaborate with copy and design teams to ensure content is visually engaging, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Repurpose partner-facing materials into formats and language that resonate with Gen Z student audiences
  • Assist in market research by helping design, distribute, and analyze student surveys and feedback to inform content strategy and campaign planning
  • Support StarRez-wide thought leadership and campaign initiatives: assist with content creation, logistics, promotion for webinars, research reports, and renter education initiatives
  • Help coordinate cross-functional campaign activities spanning student, university, and industry audiences
  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Content Marketing
  • Travel approximately 5% (estimation)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram
  • Strong writing skills tailored to Gen Z audiences
  • Experience using tools like Figma, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Comfortable with basic performance tracking and reporting
  • Video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.) (preferred)
  • Experience working in higher education, student housing, or property tech (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SEO and content optimization (preferred)
