About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and alignment with Autodesk’s values
- Drive the team to exceed assigned quotas through effective sales execution and strategic account planning
- Deliver accurate and timely forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting
- Generate new business opportunities while maximizing existing revenue streams across direct and partner-led channels
- Oversee the execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives, including product launches, trade shows, channel development events, and customer forums
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key customers and partners
- Guide resellers in developing sales and marketing plans aligned with Autodesk’s industry solutions
- Provide market insights to internal teams, influencing product development and business strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align resources and drive customer success
- Champion the use of CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies to manage and track opportunities
- Align team goals with corporate objectives using SMART goals to drive performance and accountability
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across sales operations and supporting functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- 4+ years of experience in sales leadership, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Demonstrated success in managing both direct and indirect sales channels
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales plans
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating across functions
