About the role

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and alignment with Autodesk’s values
  • Drive the team to exceed assigned quotas through effective sales execution and strategic account planning
  • Deliver accurate and timely forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting
  • Generate new business opportunities while maximizing existing revenue streams across direct and partner-led channels
  • Oversee the execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives, including product launches, trade shows, channel development events, and customer forums
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key customers and partners
  • Guide resellers in developing sales and marketing plans aligned with Autodesk’s industry solutions
  • Provide market insights to internal teams, influencing product development and business strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align resources and drive customer success
  • Champion the use of CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies to manage and track opportunities
  • Align team goals with corporate objectives using SMART goals to drive performance and accountability
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement across sales operations and supporting functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • 4+ years of experience in sales leadership, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Demonstrated success in managing both direct and indirect sales channels
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales plans
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating across functions
