About the role
- Engage customers with travel services and products (e.g., travel supplies, luggage) to provide easier travel experiences
- Assist customers with TSA Precheck, passport photos, initiating background checks and other government/state services
- Provide Travel Government or TSA-related consumer sales for identity-related products and services
- Greet all customers and provide a professional and welcoming experience
- Present products and solutions that drive sales based on customer needs
- Verify customer identity, scan required documents into database system, and take passport photos
- Capture customer fingerprint images, biometric and data capture processes, and complete paperwork
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot fingerprinting and retail equipment
- Support other areas of the store during an 8-10 week onboarding period and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older and must be a U.S. citizen
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to operate a keyboard, photocopier, other office equipment
- 1+ years customer service-related experience
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand, and walk continuously
