About the role

  • Lead program teams on developmental and manufacturing programs
  • Develop integrated program plans to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Maintain, analyze and produce metrics related to plans
  • Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
  • Develop, collect, organize and provide data to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
  • Coordinate document work statements and resulting schedules
  • Identify and report on performance variances, project status, and baseline change information to project team
  • Communicate plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders
  • Coordinate execution with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Manage execution plans for various aspects of the business
  • Coordinate program execution and reporting requirements
  • Perform Risk Management
  • Update project status, metrics, and plans
  • Work under minimal direction

Requirements

  • 6+ years work related experience with a Bachelor’s (Level 3) OR 4+ years with a Master’s OR 10+ years work related experience (Level 3 alternative)
  • 10+ years work related experience with a Bachelor’s (Level 4) OR 8+ years with a Master’s OR 14+ years work related experience (Level 4 alternative)
  • 3 or more years of experience with engineering project planning
  • Experience in leading program teams on developmental and manufacturing programs
  • Experience in developing an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements
  • Experience maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans
  • Lead risk assessments and developing mitigation plans
  • Ability to develop, collect, organize and provide data to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
  • Ability to coordinate document work statements and resulting schedules
  • Ability to identify and provide reports on performance variances, project status, and baseline change information to project team
  • Ability to communicate plan changes and recovery plans to stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Requires active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
