About the role
- Lead program teams on developmental and manufacturing programs
- Develop integrated program plans to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
- Maintain, analyze and produce metrics related to plans
- Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Develop, collect, organize and provide data to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
- Coordinate document work statements and resulting schedules
- Identify and report on performance variances, project status, and baseline change information to project team
- Communicate plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders
- Coordinate execution with multi-disciplinary teams
- Manage execution plans for various aspects of the business
- Coordinate program execution and reporting requirements
- Perform Risk Management
- Update project status, metrics, and plans
- Work under minimal direction
Requirements
- 6+ years work related experience with a Bachelor’s (Level 3) OR 4+ years with a Master’s OR 10+ years work related experience (Level 3 alternative)
- 10+ years work related experience with a Bachelor’s (Level 4) OR 8+ years with a Master’s OR 14+ years work related experience (Level 4 alternative)
- 3 or more years of experience with engineering project planning
- Experience in leading program teams on developmental and manufacturing programs
- Experience in developing an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements
- Experience maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans
- Lead risk assessments and developing mitigation plans
- Ability to develop, collect, organize and provide data to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
- Ability to coordinate document work statements and resulting schedules
- Ability to identify and provide reports on performance variances, project status, and baseline change information to project team
- Ability to communicate plan changes and recovery plans to stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Requires active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
