About the role
- Perform or oversee preventive maintenance and PM at properties; manage construction, repair, and remodeling projects
- Manage vendor selection and contracting processes
- Report accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to GM & HR; ensure safety training and certifications
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety and security procedures; protect assets
- Develop positive working relationships; support team goals; address concerns of team members
- Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, safety activities, test results, readings, and equipment issues
- Travel up to 80% and travel to any USA state as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in facilities management or risk management
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business development, or related major; Associate degree or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technical Trade or Vocational School Degree
- OSHA 40 certification and other technical certifications (e.g., CPO)
- Experience in facilities risk assessments
- Experience managing renovation projects and defining scope of work
- Budgeting experience, reporting, spreadsheets, and familiarity with Gantt charts
- Willingness to travel up to 80% and work weekends/on-call
