About the role
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to achieve goals for compliance, customer satisfaction and value extraction.
- Establish receipt and delivery specifications.
- Assess product quality during receipt, storage, and distribution.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure proper execution of processes and procedures.
- Oversee sampling and testing programs.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and test results.
- Lead initiatives to improve process effectiveness, efficiency, capacity and flexibility.
- Ensure all quality control activities adhere to safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or related field preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient in quality control software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to terminal sites as needed. Approximately 25% travel.
