• Lead design tasks as part of a project team, collaborate with local and virtual project teams and other senior project staff to produce high quality work products for our clients.

Senior Civil Engineer

Mechanical Engineer

• Prepare contract drawings, schematics, schedules, details, and sketches from conceptual design through to construction.
• Produce aspects of mechanical design and drawings in REVIT, as well as in AutoCAD.
• Assist in the design of building related mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems across Canada using applicable codes, standards, and reference materials.
• Review equipment selections, perform preliminary engineering calculations, and develop preliminary designs.
• Facilitate and ensure the quality of the project deliverables.

Controller

• Participate in the preparation of the required management plans and ensure follow-up and control to identify discrepancies.
• Provide support to the project team with budget and forecast management during execution to accurately reflect project status.
• Support Senior Management with cost control reporting while adhering to company standards.
• Provide support for the development of the detailed work breakdown structure (WBS) and cost breakdown structure (CBS) of projects.
• Generate all required project status reports for internal management and for the client, including the overall project Dashboard, project performance report (Earned Value, SPI, CPI, etc.).

• Provide technical guidance to the Land Development teams in areas of hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis
• Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies

• Lead Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and remediation projects, from proposal development to project completion, including driving deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Oversee project budgets and timelines, maintain effective coordination and communication with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress and status.
• Promote and maintain overall project quality and health and safety requirements and procedures throughout a project's life cycle.

• Gain proficient knowledge of the Stantec Project Management tools and understanding and following Stantec’s over-arching project management framework processes to become a resource for Project Managers and supporting ISO 9001 compliance.
• Assist the Project Management team with work breakdown structure, work plan development, and analysis of work plan against schedule.
• Contribute to proposal development ensuring contractual and operational compliance.
