About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies, including closed/open drainage systems, environmental site design, ponds, stream restoration, flood studies, and E&SC controls
Provide technical guidance to the Land Development teams in areas of hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis
Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies
Assist in plan development and cost estimation
Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones
Participate in field work as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience including but not limited to TR-55, TR-20, PC-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, or similar
Proficient using CAD programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Bluebeam
Effective communication and critical thinking skills
Commitment to client satisfaction, as well as team and personal growth
Professional, ethical, positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to challenges
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines, work independently, think clearly, have organized thoughts, and draw logical conclusions
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems software
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an accredited college or university
Professional Engineer (PE) registration or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
5+ years’ experience in water resources design and analysis for Land/Civil Site Engineering.
