About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support multi-disciplinary municipal civil projects, related to new build and infrastructure renewal
Undertake detailed studies and design tasks associated with water related projects including site civil, conveyance, and water resources projects
Perform project administration, including coordination of and preparing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, completing progress reports, and assisting in project management
Write reports and design briefs
Take responsibility for the quality of your written, technical and graphic work, and for completing work on time and on budget
Coordinate design drawing and specification development
Attend internal, client, and contractor meetings and document the meetings with minutes
Contract Administration as required for a wide variety of construction projects
Assist with site visits and field investigations as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a background in Civil Engineering (preferably in the water and wastewater discipline), from an accredited university
Minimum of two years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
Registration with APEGA as a member in training, or eligible to register
Valid class 5 driving license is required
Related Co-op/Internship experience preferred
