About the role
- Lead enterprise-wide projects, overseeing large, complex, cross-functional IT and marketing initiatives from initiation to close
- Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans, clear deliverables, and measurable outcomes
- Apply advanced project management methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall) tailored to project needs
- Incorporate emerging technologies, including AI, into project planning to advance innovation
- Build strong, cohesive project teams by fostering trust, collaboration, and shared ownership
- Delegate effectively and hold teams accountable for results
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure clarity, alignment, and buy-in
- Articulate a clear project vision and inspire teams to achieve it while remaining adaptable to changing conditions
- Anticipate risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies; resolve conflicts constructively
- Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
- Ensure project documentation, communication, and reporting are timely, accurate, and actionable
- Partner with vendors and technology partners to deliver solutions that meet evolving needs
- Work closely with technology, internal communications and administration, education operations, and executive leadership teams
- Reports to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, IT, or related field; experience considered in lieu of degree
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Proven track record of managing projects that integrate technology, process change, and business transformation
- Strong leadership skills, including visionary thinking, decisiveness, and the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, build trust, and foster collaboration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- A data-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
- A passion to work cross-functionally and bring out the best in others
- Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems
- Experience in K-12 education field (preferred)
- At least 5 years in senior or enterprise-level project management roles managing cross-functional projects (preferred)
- Success managing enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives (preferred)
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certifications (preferred)
- An understanding of the power of AI and how the concepts transform project management outcomes (preferred)
