About the role
- Establish and drive sales activities for SaaS-based offerings within the South East region
- Penetrate and prospect named accounts for new large enterprise business
- Attain annual sales quota and quarterly targets
- Deliver regional bookings through prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing enterprise client accounts
- Demonstrated success in selling complex, multi-stakeholder, high-value enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences
- Manage prospective customer relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential enterprise customers in the South East region
- Develop and implement regional pipeline growth strategies and leverage resources to grow pipeline to 4x bookings goals or more
- Gather Account Intelligence and populate account plans for Top 25 / Top 100 Focused Account List
- Work with Focus Partners to cultivate prospect and customer accounts and collaborate on field events and customer meetings
- Build relationships with regional and national partners
- Track customer information and provide continuous forecast and pipeline accuracy through diligent CRM and forecasting platforms upkeep
- Ensure regional bookings are clean and complete to meet Quote to Cash requirements and manage end-to-end sales process
- Report customer feedback and competitive analysis to appropriate company personnel and assist in product development by providing market insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of proven success selling SaaS-based solutions or subscription-based products to a diverse enterprise customer base
- Strong understanding of CyberSecurity, Cloud & SaaS solutions and/or Security Infrastructure Products
- Familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or other enterprise sales methodologies
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce.com or HubSpot (preferred), Outreach, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Chatgpt / other AI
- Excellent, positive communication skills and relationship building
- History of meeting/exceeding revenue targets
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
- Ability to succeed in a collaborative environment and operate as a team player
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to work remotely and willingness to travel on short notice
