About the role

  • Drive new business revenue and win new logos in the UK market
  • Consistently deliver license, support and service revenue targets
  • Establish favourable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  • Use Sales Engineering, in-house and partner services resources and sales methodology effectively
  • Collaborate with international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and customer value
  • Act as a good corporate citizen: share relevant information and work as a team for efficient resource deployment
  • Provide timely and insightful input to product management and marketing
  • Join a London-based team as Regional Sales Manager focused on enterprise new business

Requirements

  • Measurable track record in generating new business from scratch in the UK/I Market
  • Extensive experience of direct New Business, winning new logos and selling into large Enterprise accounts
  • Very comfortable in the “C” suite; record of closing six and seven figure software licensing deals
  • Ability to grow and scale upward with the company; first line management experience a plus
  • Strong executive presence and polish, with outstanding management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a multifaceted, fast-growing, rapidly changing environment while able to work independently and remotely
  • Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics
  • Track record of success and knowledge with prospects and customers in the defined territory
  • Passion for Splunk's products and projects
  • Desire to learn and adapt; constantly learning new areas and technologies
  • Experience in using CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
