Responsible for the day to day operations of a 'social model' residential program for 27 women with a history of substance use.
Responsibilities include staff recruitment and selection, staff supervision, updating program policies and procedures, insuring proper maintenance of client records in accordance with DPH standards, evaluating program design, administrative oversight including billing, data collection, fiscal and budgetary oversight.
Act as the liaison with funder and all external providers.
Supervise and administer 27 unit residential programs for single women with history of substance use.
Provide program development and oversight of policies and procedures.
Responsible for emergencies and crisis intervention, 24 hours a day.
Supervise effective resource referrals for clients.
Provide individual and group counseling and family meetings, as required.
Coordinate HIV/AIDS education and referrals.
Network with community providers internally and externally to maximize service delivery and reduce duplication of services.
Take on role of Programs Access Coordinator.
Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the program/department to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals.
Recruit, manage, develop and evaluate staff by providing timely mentoring, training and performance management.
Complete required paperwork in accordance with company policy.
Engage all clients by understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of work.
Attend & participate in engagement team meetings as requested and communicate effectively with clients and staff in other areas.
Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.
Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and/or funder requirements, as well as, SMOC policies & procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum two (2) years administrative and supervisory experience.
Minimum five (5) years direct service experience.
If applicable, five (5) years of continuous sobriety.
Must be flexible, organized and have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Proven knowledge of the disease concept of addiction, dual-diagnosis, and understanding of the recovery process.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
