About the role
- Oversee the planning, execution, and management of testing and commissioning activities for Solv Energy EPC projects.
- Work closely with technical and subject matter experts.
- Manage the core commissioning team, and coordinate project stakeholders for a smooth transition from commissioning to closeout.
- Lead the commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to commissioning and lead the development of project specific commissioning plans and procedures.
- Communicate directly with the client and trade partners regarding testing and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment on commissioning activities.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in testing and commissioning of Utility scale electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
