Support Engineer

• As a chemical support engineer, you will be the primary support for your district to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically and safely at accounts within the district.
• You will also assist and work alongside sales account managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs.
• Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs within the pulp and paper industry.
• Update databases with each service visit and generate weekly service reports as required
• Assists with technical issues at customer sites, brings any issues to the customers attention and puts together a plan for corrective action – ensures the sales account manager is kept informed
• Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required
• Assist with data analysis on program performance
• Routine monitoring and maintenance of feed equipment as required
• Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge
