Business Operations

• Own CT’s revenue growth strategy to identify, pursue, and close new ceding carrier relationships as the annuity market expands.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects (e.g., insurance carriers, insurance sales entities, TPAs, etc.) from first contact through signed agreement.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Product, and Operations Management to ensure coordinated client and partner onboarding, retention, and product penetration.
• Partner closely with the product operations and engineering leadership to translate client needs into the product roadmap and represent market requirements. Develop pricing structures, contract terms, and proposal materials for new client engagements.
• Represent CT at industry conferences, carrier forums, and regulatory working groups to build brand presence and source pipeline.
• Work with Solen Marketing to create CT marketing materials and web presence.
• Improve the existing sales playbook with a focus on process design, forecasting, and implementing workflows that scale.

Director of Business Development – Operations

Controller

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities and currencies.
• Lead multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations end-to-end.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and key accounting judgments.
• Ensure GL, balance sheet, and income statement accuracy across every entity.
• Own the chart of accounts and reporting mappings.
• Design scalable accounting processes that absorb new entities.
• Serve as primary owner for audit, tax, and regulatory coordination.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for management and stakeholders.

General

• Own the full due diligence process across live transactions, including commercial, financial, operational, technology, legal, tax, and HR workstreams.
• Scope diligence, build and maintain the master diligence calendar, run working sessions, and drive workstream owners to clear, on-time outputs.
• Select, scope, and manage external advisors (QoE, consulting, legal, tech, insurance) with rigor on cost, quality, and timeline.
• Synthesize hundreds of pages of diligence output into a sharp investment thesis, key risks, and a defensible recommendation—owner-grade, not academic.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models from a blank sheet; pressure-test management projections against diligence findings.
• Lead working capital, net debt, and quality-of-earnings analyses in partnership with QoE providers; develop a clear point of view on adjustments.
• Translate diligence findings into bid mechanics: purchase price, structure, earnouts, escrows, and reps & warranties positioning.
• Maintain valuation rigor across cases tied to specific operating drivers.
• Draft IC memos, deal updates, and board materials that translate complex diligence into the three things that actually matter for the decision.
• Maintain a single source of truth for deal status, open items, and decisions across the deal team.
• Communicate clearly and directly with senior leadership—surface risks early, frame trade-offs cleanly, and bring recommendations, not just analysis.
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders (corporate development, finance, legal, portfolio operations) and external counterparties (sellers, bankers, lenders, advisors) to keep deals on timeline.
• Support negotiation of LOIs, purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary documents alongside legal counsel.
• Partner tightly with corporate development on opportunity evaluation, target screening, and management meetings.
• Own structured post-close transition handoff to integration and portfolio operations teams—diligence findings, value creation hypotheses, open risks, and Day-1 priorities.
• Provide feedback loops that sharpen Solen’s diligence playbooks, scorecards, and execution standards over time.

Private Equity Associate

Account Manager

• Own the renewal cycle for a 100+ account book, ensuring on-time contract execution with minimal revenue leakage.
• Lead pricing conversations confidently, including presenting and defending annual price increases to customers.
• Identify at-risk accounts early and execute proactive retention strategies in partnership with Customer Success.
• Identify upsell opportunities within the OneCX platform (e.g., adding Appointments, Analytics, or Staff Scheduler modules to single-module customers).
• Build account expansion plans and work multi-threaded across stakeholders at each institution to advance deals.
• Partner with the product and CS teams to surface customer needs that can be converted into expansion revenue.
• Maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders (branch operations, technology, and executive sponsors) across your book.
• Conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate ROI, align on strategic priorities, and generate an expansion pipeline.
• Keep Zoho CRM updated with accurate account data, deal stages, and forecasted revenue.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Own Solen’s origination GTM: vertical theses, ICPs / personas, account universe, and coverage model (direct-to-owner, advisor, partner).
• Hire, onboard, and manage ; design the organizational blueprint and hiring plan to scale (Team Leads, Managers, enablement).
• Lead WBRs, MBRs, and quarterly performance reviews.
• Build multi-touch programs (email, phone, LinkedIn, conferences, in-person) with cadences tailored to founder-owned, sponsor-owned, and carve-outs.
• Establish a performance culture grounded in transparency, feedback, and results.
• Ensure CRM rigor (hygiene, stage definitions, fields) and a single source of truth from accounts → outreach → meetings → qualified opportunities → LOIs.
• Frame founder-friendly transaction constructs (certainty / speed / structure) and sustain momentum through LOI.
• Collaborate with the Operating team on top-down and bottom-up market maps and vertical prioritization.

Investment Partner

People Operations

• Help document, and improve People processes, policies, and workflows across Solen and its portfolio companies.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and HRIS data management across multiple entities and locations.
• Support benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and employee questions.
• Partner with brokers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve benefits issues.
• Support payroll operations across US, Canada, UK, Portugal, Brazil, and other locations as Solen grows.
• Partner with payroll providers and EOR partners to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Help maintain compliance with domestic and international employment, payroll, and benefits requirements.
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processes.
• Prepare reports related to headcount, payroll, benefits, turnover, and other people metrics.
• Support acquisition integration efforts from a people operations perspective.
