About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own CT’s revenue growth strategy to identify, pursue, and close new ceding carrier relationships as the annuity market expands.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects (e.g., insurance carriers, insurance sales entities, TPAs, etc.) from first contact through signed agreement.
- Collaborate with Client Services, Product, and Operations Management to ensure coordinated client and partner onboarding, retention, and product penetration.
- Partner closely with the product operations and engineering leadership to translate client needs into the product roadmap and represent market requirements. Develop pricing structures, contract terms, and proposal materials for new client engagements.
- Represent CT at industry conferences, carrier forums, and regulatory working groups to build brand presence and source pipeline.
- Work with Solen Marketing to create CT marketing materials and web presence.
- Improve the existing sales playbook with a focus on process design, forecasting, and implementing workflows that scale.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of operations, sales, business development, or relationship management experience in large corporate environments, working with annuities, life insurance, or related insurance / financial service solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with corporate leadership and business teams.
- Working knowledge of annuity lifecycle management.
- Successfully managed budget planning and forecasting.
- Experience either buying or selling B2B SaaS to insurance or financial services clients.
- Track record of owning a revenue book, managing complex sales cycles, negotiating and closing professional services contracts.
