• Serve as the primary translator between performance marketing and the data team — scoping requests, writing clear briefs, managing timelines, and QA-ing outputs

• Responsible for establishing, cultivating, and improving Solace’s relationship with clients.
• Identify new business opportunities to grow with both new clients, and within existing clients – and they lead the sales process from start to finish.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans that address short-term and strategic goals which include pipeline building, revenue attainment, profit margin, client wallet share, and customer satisfaction.
• Be a “hunter” and must be a self-starter who is able to work independently.
• At the same time, be a strong team player — capable of collaborating widely and building a deep relationship with their pre-sales engineer(s) and others.
• Ultimately, accountable to win new business, and in the process will build strong client relationships (at both the working and executive level), negotiate complex deals, and establish long-lasting client relationships.

Solutions Engineer

• Own technical relationships with customers and prospects.
• Evangelize on a day-to-day basis in the integration space to a wide array of audiences, from C levels to developers.
• Drive and own Proof of Concepts with prospects for identified sales opportunities.

• Translate strategy into execution. Partner closely with Product and cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into campaigns within Customer.io ranging from simple web hooks to highly complex email and SMS, multi-step workflows.
• Build and optimize sophisticated campaigns. Own the end-to-end configuration of lifecycle campaigns, ensuring logic, triggers, segmentation, and messaging are implemented accurately, efficiently, and at scale.
• Conduct flawless QA. Lead rigorous quality assurance processes for every campaign launch. Continuously refine and improve QA frameworks to reduce errors, increase speed to launch, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Serve as our Customer.io expert. Develop deep mastery of CIO’s full suite of capabilities, features, and functionalities. Stay current on new releases and best practices, and proactively recommend innovative use cases and enhancements to elevate our lifecycle marketing efforts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues. Proactively investigate campaign failures, bugs, and performance gaps by digging into workflow logic, event triggers, and underlying data to identify root causes and implement durable fixes.
• Master segmentation and logic. Develop advanced expertise in CIO’s logic, event structures, data flows, and dynamic segmentation to enable precise targeting and personalization.
• Own deliverability and list health. Monitor overall email performance, deliverability, and audience health. Proactively propose new logic, data structures, and segmentation strategies to improve targeting, engagement, and overall campaign performance.
• Support data and event accuracy. Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure events and user attributes are flowing correctly into Customer.io and are usable for segmentation and personalization. Flag gaps or inconsistencies in tracking that may impact campaign performance.
