About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, shape account strategies, and drive deals to closure
Educate customers on event-driven architecture and agentic AI
Guide customers on industry best practices, integration patterns, and modernization strategies
Build and nurture relationships with technical and business stakeholders
Conduct on-site visits, check-ins, and discovery sessions
Translate Solace platform capabilities into customer outcomes
Lead demonstrations, Proofs of Concept, and Proofs of Value
Architect solutions demonstrating the business impact of Solace’s event-driven and agentic AI platform
Own evaluation processes through workshops, trials, and technical validations
Evangelize event-driven architecture concepts and patterns
Position Solace Event Brokers against competing messaging and streaming technologies
Guide customers through an EDA maturity model
Position and demonstrate Solace Agent Mesh Enterprise for production-grade agentic AI
Engage industry use cases where real-time event triggers drive autonomous AI agent actions
Stay current on event-driven architecture, agentic AI, cloud computing, messaging, and microservices
Provide customer insights to influence product roadmap decisions
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering
Serve as a field voice for Agent Mesh adoption
Travel up to 35%, primarily across North America
Deliver demonstrations and PoVs for enterprise prospects
Lead successful PoVs and act as a trusted customer advisor
Help close multimillion-dollar deals and expand Solace’s enterprise footprint

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in technical sales or solutions engineering selling complex enterprise software solutions
Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, or event streaming platforms such as Solace PubSub+, Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or MQTT brokers
Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent systems such as LangChain, Google ADK, CrewAI, or AutoGen
Working knowledge of A2A and MCP communication patterns is a strong plus
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and application integration patterns
Ability to design and lead technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept implementations
Strong ability to lead technical evaluations and communicate business impact
Experience with banking and capital markets use cases and technology stacks
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel to customers and events up to 35%
Preferred: experience with event-driven architectures, streaming, or messaging middleware
Preferred: exposure to agentic AI, LLM application development, or multi-agent orchestration platforms
Preferred: programming knowledge in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript
Preferred: familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including security, networking, and compliance considerations
