About the role
- In the Coordinator, Global Product Marketing – Fragrance role, you will dive into the heart of product marketing, supporting the development and execution of new fragrance launches and programs from concept to commercialization over the next 3-5 years.
- Report to the Manager, Global Product Marketing – Fragrance
- Conduct fragrance market and trend research, identifying emerging olfactive directions, ingredient stories, and competitive launches to inform product strategy
- Support fragrance development process by tracking briefs, submissions, evaluations, and cross-functional feedback
- Assist in crafting detailed marketing presentations and product concept briefs that outline fragrance positioning, emotional storytelling, olfactive notes, claims, and consumer benefits
- Help define fragrance naming and concept language, ensuring alignment with Sol de Janeiro’s unique tone of voice
- Support the messaging and positioning for fragrance launches and ongoing optimizations of existing collections
- Manage translations, copy manuscripts, and artwork approvals, ensuring fragrance product stories resonate globally
- Monitor and recommend updates to fragrance Q&As, reflecting new insights from competitive analysis and consumer feedback
- Analyze fragrance performance, sales and pricing data to identify trends and performance insights, supporting strategic decision-making
- Maintain the fragrance launch calendar and ensure all stakeholders are informed of key updates and timelines
- Organize competitive fragrance sample collection and lead internal olfactive education sessions to enhance team knowledge and excitement
- Stay continuously updated on consumer and fragrance market insights to identify potential new opportunities within the beauty and fragrance space
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of professional experience in beauty (internships included); marketing preferred
- Passion for fragrance, beauty, and upcoming cultural trends
- Creative yet analytical thinker - able to craft compelling fragrance stories while interpreting data and insights
- Team player with a positive attitude and agility given the dynamic environment
- Curious, open-minded, and with a constant drive for excellence
- Attention to detail and organization are critical
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule (3 days in our New York office per week)
