About the role

  • Support efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent while fostering a positive employee experience
  • Help guide employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits programs
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws
  • Contribute to solving workplace challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support initiatives that drive team and company success
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior HR team members
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends and support decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related Field
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Payroll Database software
  • Specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation and other programs
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Strong reasoning and math skills
  • Must be able to travel 5-10% of the time
