About the role
- Command the room in pre-sales meetings—C-suite pitches, technical deep dives, and hands-on workshops
- Build demos using real customer data and creative flair
- Load, shape, and tweak data and perform light coding to tailor demos
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, aligning platform value with prospect needs
- Feed the product pipeline with frontline insights and help prioritize customer-valued features
- Translate feature requests into use cases for product prioritization
- Act as the go-to expert for turning the platform into solutions that solve real business problems
- Communicate product capabilities and business impact to senior product, finance, and engineering leaders
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to position the platform and win market share
- Lead RFI/RFP efforts from the product perspective
- Develop deep understanding of software development lifecycle and evolving AI Gen tool space
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical product roles (helped close deals and influenced roadmaps)
- Mix of product sense and sales savvy — understand what customers want and turn features into value stories
- Technical chops to manipulate data and do light coding (SQL, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Confidence presenting to executives and technical teams; expert presentation skills and experience presenting to C-level
- Storytelling skills to make complex concepts clear and compelling
- Energy, adaptability, and ability to work in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- Ability to travel from time to time when appropriate
