Own full-cycle recruiting for Clinical Operations Specialist and related roles, from intake through offer
Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand the role requirements and translate them into sourcing strategies that resonate with clinical audiences
Source proactively across LinkedIn, Indeed, niche coding forums, and professional associations to identify RNs, coders, and HIM professionals with relevant experience
Assess candidates for both clinical accuracy and technical curiosity — ensuring strong fit for a hybrid AI-enabled work environment
Provide high-touch candidate experiences, keeping communication clear, empathetic, and timely
Track and analyze pipeline metrics to ensure healthy candidate flow and identify opportunities to optimize speed and quality
Contribute to employer-branding initiatives that highlight SmarterDx’s mission and showcase clinician success stories within the company
Collaborate with the broader People team on process improvements and tools to improve recruiting efficiency and quality of hire
Requirements
2–4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with exposure to healthcare, health tech, or clinical operations roles
Familiarity with clinical job families — e.g., RNs, CDSs, coders, auditors, HIM professionals — and an ability to screen effectively for relevant experience
Experience working with high-volume candidate pipelines while maintaining a personalized and mission-driven candidate experience
Excellent communication skills and professional presence when interacting with clinicians and executives alike
Comfort operating in fast-paced startup environments, balancing strategic hiring with day-to-day execution
Proficiency with ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
