About the role

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Clinical Operations Specialist and related roles, from intake through offer
  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand the role requirements and translate them into sourcing strategies that resonate with clinical audiences
  • Source proactively across LinkedIn, Indeed, niche coding forums, and professional associations to identify RNs, coders, and HIM professionals with relevant experience
  • Assess candidates for both clinical accuracy and technical curiosity — ensuring strong fit for a hybrid AI-enabled work environment
  • Provide high-touch candidate experiences, keeping communication clear, empathetic, and timely
  • Track and analyze pipeline metrics to ensure healthy candidate flow and identify opportunities to optimize speed and quality
  • Contribute to employer-branding initiatives that highlight SmarterDx’s mission and showcase clinician success stories within the company
  • Collaborate with the broader People team on process improvements and tools to improve recruiting efficiency and quality of hire

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with exposure to healthcare, health tech, or clinical operations roles
  • Familiarity with clinical job families — e.g., RNs, CDSs, coders, auditors, HIM professionals — and an ability to screen effectively for relevant experience
  • Experience working with high-volume candidate pipelines while maintaining a personalized and mission-driven candidate experience
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence when interacting with clinicians and executives alike
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced startup environments, balancing strategic hiring with day-to-day execution
  • Proficiency with ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
