About the role
- Act as the primary point of contact and project owner for clients and internal teams
- Oversee and manage project execution throughout the entire project lifecycle (from discovery to close)
- Track and manage project budget and schedule, proactively addressing variances
- Lead project discovery and deliverable review calls with clients and stakeholders
- Identify, track, and manage project action items, issues, and risks
- Participate in project reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of work methods
- Ensure that client goals and requests are aligned with the contractual scope of work
- Provide clear and frequent communication with the client regarding project status, scope, and any additional requests
- Proactively manage client expectations and offer timely change orders for out-of-scope requests
- Maintain high customer satisfaction rates and build strong client relationships
- Serve as an expert advisor to clients and provide day-to-day support to the project team
- Coordinate activities across various teams, including creative, development, SEO, and quality assurance
- Provide detailed feedback to internal resources to ensure a high-quality delivery
- Keep the team motivated and ensure efficient, proactive day-to-day production
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required, with a preference for a technical field
- At least 2 years of experience in project management or production within an agency or client services environment
- Significant experience managing and owning productive client relationships
- Experience partnering with cross-functional agency teams (e.g., strategy, creative, dev, PR, paid media)
- Experience leading the full project lifecycle at an agency
- Experience working remotely is preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate expectations and objectives with both clients and team members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write succinctly and professionally
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and direct project resources with confidence
- Adept business acumen and problem-solving skills to understand client business and proactively identify and resolve barriers to success
